The ideal candidate will be located in the Long Island, NY Or the New York Area
Education:
Bachelor Degree or higher required, or the equivalent of 2 years experience for each year of school
Major Job Functions:
** Design, construct and maintain applications in collaboration with other developers, QA
engineers, and product managers
** Document logical and physical designs, review ideas with peers and present designs to the team for comments and suggestions
** Ability to assess requirements, logical and physical designs and develop accurate schedule estimates
** Understand product life cycle and change management while handling multiple on-going new development and maintenance tasks
** Tenacity to work with service and support organizations and directly with customers to support solutions
** Work with the global development organization spread across 4 different locations
Requirements:
** B.E/ MCA Degree and 4 years of engineering experience
** Strong Knowledge of C++, C#, ASP and the .net framework a must
** Solid Knowledge of RDBMS packages including MS SQL Server and Oracle.
** Excellent fundamentals of Windows Operating Systems.
** Interpersonal skills (good listener, patient, action oriented)
** Good written and oral communication skills
** Self-discipline and self-motivated
** Learning and decision making capabilities
** Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments
** Familiarity with Software Configuration Management tools.
** Team player
** Understanding the customer interaction or customer relationship management industries a plus
